Southeast Asia Nazarene Bible College, an institution of the Church of the Nazarene, teaches and adheres to the statement of belief as found in the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene. The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the denomination is now home to about 2.3 million members worshipping in more than 29,000 local congregations in 159 world areas.
Theological education at Southeast Asia Nazarene Bible College (SEANBC) is built upon strong biblical and theological foundations as well as practical field experience. It is delivered in multi-level, multi-schedule, multi-location, multi-language, and multi-delivery systems. 2001 witnessed the first graduating class of SEANBC and since then graduates of SEANBC are serving the church as pastors, evangelists/church planters, lay leaders, teachers, churchmen, cross-cultural missionaries, and in urban ministries, for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Southeast Asia. It is the purpose of Southeast Asia Nazarene Bible College to continue training young men and women to serve in various and multiple roles at various levels of the church.
The purpose of SEANBC shall be primarily to serve Southeast Asia by providing quality transformational education with a focus on lay and ministerial education and to foster, promote, and maintain this education in harmony with the current Manual of the Church of the Nazarene.
